Business Rounds at Festuris 2011

Already counting on 354 exhibitors  and 1.700 confirmed brands, Gramado Tourism Trade Fair – Festuris innovates promoting Business Rounds in charge of SEBRAE (The Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises). The characteristics of the Rounds and the participants will be defined on 30 August, during a meeting in Brasilia (Brazil´s capital).
Acording to Festuris CEO Marta Rossi, the confirmation of the Business Rounds SEBRAE demonstrates that the recognition of Festuris increases every edition. SEBRAE declared that the participant market niches of the Rounds are going to be Amateur Fishing and Religious Tourism, besides another segment to be defined with international entrepreneurs. The participation at the Rounds, by means of schedule, will be free of charge.
The reestructuration of Pavillion II of Serra Park Center, where the event will again take place, is another novelty for 2011. The Pavillion will be redecorated and will shelter the Highlighted Destinations, workshops and a special area destinated to ABAV-RS – Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies in Rio Grande do Sul State – to assist travel agents in subjects like sanitary rules, customs and civil responsibility. Routes / itineraries will also have a space, specially the Eno-tourism in Flores da Cunha, a town in the same Hillside Region where Gramado is situated.
The amount of visitors in this edition of Festuris, which will happen from the 17th to the 20th of November, is supposed to surpass 10% the edition 2011, when 13.000 people attended the fair. Regarding to the  booths in the fair, it will also have a 10% rise in quantity. Untill the end of August, inscriptions for the trade visitors are free of charge. “The search for inscriptions has been very positive, with the confirmation of participants from different Brazilian regions and also exhibitors from abroad”, celebrates Marta Rossi.
With the coming of new airlines to Porto Alegre, like TAP and TACA, exhibitors from Colombia, Venezuela, Panama and Veneto Region / Italy have already granted their participation, some of them for the first time. “The growing interest of foreigners is certainly a consequence of the these new airline´s operation in Porto Alegre, which situates Rio Grande do Sul State in the route of international tourism”, says Marta.
