Festuris took part at the 1st AIBTM in Baltimore, USA.

On its proposal to intensify liaisons with international market and to consolidate Gramado Tourism Trade Show as a stage for tourism business worldwide, Marta Rossi and Marcus Rossi took part at AIBTM (The Americas Meetings & Events Exhibition), in Baltimore, USA. AIBTM, which took place from 21 to 23 June, is a newness in the international scenery of fairs aimed to the segment Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (Mice). AIBTM counted, still, on the participation of buyers from several countries interested in destinations to accomplish events and incentive trips.

With characteristics like territorial and cultural diversity more and more valorized by the American market, Brazil is living a big moment, recognized by the trade when the subject is tourism in Latin America. “We are disclosing Gramado Tourism Trade Fair to the American market, where our proposal has been very well accepted, considering our strategic localization in Rio Grande do Sul State”, says Marta.

Festuris´ CEO also emphasizes that this approach has allowed a work alongside Brazilian and South American travel agents which has favoured the tourism trade show in Gramado. The entrepreneur lists some destinations that came close to Festuris during AIBTM: “We had the opportunity to accomplish good contacts with Egypt, Malaysia, England and Russia, among others”.
