Gramado prepares the biggest South American tourism business trade fair

Recognized as the trade fair which generates the most effective results to South America, Gramado Tourism Trade Fair (Festuris) is strictly focused on the trade professionals and becomes a stage for tourist transactions at world level. This year the Trade Fair reaches the 23rd edition and takes place from the 17th to the 20th November, at Serra Park Center. It gathers professionals with power decision and, by passing through the aisles, it is possible to watch people doing business.

Gramado, the home of Festuris, is a town privileged for nature and has known to explore its qualities, being today compared to European cities due to its characteristics and pattern of planning. Moreover, the town is situated in a strategic place, near Porto Alegre - Rio Grande do Sul State capital, the second largest tourists´ entrance door to Brazil – easily connected to other big Brazilian cities as São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, also to the Mercosul countries Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia.

Gramado Tourism Trade Fair is supported by Brazilian Tourism Ministry. In a recent meeting the Tourism Minister of State, Pedro Novais, confirmed to Festuris CEOs his presence in the next edition of the event. At Festuris, participants testify the presence of all Brazilian states, by means of institutional organisms or the trade tourism companies.´

In the last years, the internationalization of the Fair has gained prominence. For 2011 are already confirmed destinations from abroad as Uruguay, Argentina, Italy (Veneto Region), the USA (Orlando), Israel, Indonesia and Santiago de Compostela, besides companies from Chile, Venezuela and the United Arab Emirates.
