Festuris in countdown after the Official Launching

The launching of the 23rd Gramado Tourism Trade Fair (Festuris), on October 13, was characterized by the enthusiasm of the organizers and the conviction that the countdown, from now on, is for an event marked by the internationalization and the novelties for the tourist trade. Over five hundred guests were received by CEOs Marta Rossi, Eduardo Zorzanello and Marcus Rossi at Embaixador Hotel, in Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul state.
Marta Rossi described the launching as a confraternization event, as well as an opportunity to strengthen commercial ties with the trade and to gather potential buyers and suppliers. “Besides celebrating the coming of another Festuris edition, here we establish initiatives like joint ventures, technology transfers, franchisings and the direct contact with the own travel agents”, said Marta.

Abgail Pereira, Tourism Secretary of Rio Grande do Sul, in her speech, declared that Gramado Tourism Trade Fair is an event of the state, beyond Gramado. “It (Festuris) is a reason for pride for us, because it reunites not only Brazilian representatives but those from all Mercosul, who attend important debates about tourism”, she told. Abgail bets tourism is an efficient way to develop the state economy… “and it is built through the efforts of the trade and the private initiative.”

in Rio Grande do Sul, on her turn, pointed out with pride that the her entity is going to count, as a big attraction, on a 100m² space at the Trade Fair of Festuris 2011. “The ABAV RS space will be a place for the travel agents to receive orientations on questions like sanitary rules, customs and civilian responsibility” Vasconcelos declares.

Were also present in the stage, during the solemnity, the President of Brazilian Association of Journalists on Tourism (ABRAJET), Helcio Estrella, the Mayor of Gramado, Nestor Tissot and Adeli Sell, council-man in Porto Alegre city.

One of the most awaited moments of the night was the raffle of 31 prizes, such as trips and hotel vouchers, for the guests and travel agents.
