Participation in Italy consolidates FESTURIS as an international event

The trip of Gramado Tourism Trade Fair CEOs Eduardo Zorzanello and Marcus Rossi to Italy was celebrated with the agreement and the consolidation of the international contacts made in the last years in the country. The commemoration is due to the arrangements regarding new aspects of the participation of Veneto Region in the trade fair in 2011.
Zorzanello and Rossi met Claudio Donatis and Anna Luisa Bruscoli, representatives of Veneto Marketing & Tourism Department. The Minister of Tourism and International Relations of the Veneto Region, Marino Finozzi, confirmed his participation with a speech. Donatis and Bruscoli also informed that five operators will participate at the fair. About the booth in the fair, Veneto Region purchased a larger one compared to that in 2010 - it will be a 72m² stand, more than twice the size in 2010 (30 m²) and this year it will be situated in the main avenue of the international area, celebrates Zorzanello.
Considered the first Italian tourist region, with 60 million arrivals and 14 million overnight stays, Veneto Region presents as highlights the dolomitic Cortina d´Ampezzo, the lakeside towns around Lake Garda (Peschera, Garda e Malcesine), Abano Terme and the watering places Jesolo and Caorle, which figure among the favourite for the tourists.
As for Levico-Terme, the main reason of the 20 people from Gramado trip to Italy to witness the signature of the fellowship (the so-called gemellaggio), the participation of the town in the 23rd Gramado Tourism Trade Fair is not confirmed yet. Zornanello and Rossi said that, without a partnership, the small town of only 8 thousand inhabitants can´t afford participating at Festuris. “On this purpose, we are trying to enlarge the market of Trentino Region, in which Levico-Terme would take part coming along with Trento, the capital of the province”, says Zorzanello. “Gramado Tourism Trade Fair (Festuris) is one of the most important events of the Brazilian and South American tourist calendar. It is an extremely important opportunity to promote our product, to make big deals and to intensify the relationship with Brazilian tourist trade”.
